- Category 3: Ages 18 – 25 years old

STEM Forensic Hands-On Activities
Step into the shoes of a detective and explore the fascinating world of forensic science through immersive, hands-on investigations. Participants will work at multiple forensic stations, collecting and analysing evidence from a simulated crime scene. Activities include blood typing, fingerprint analysis, toxicology testing, and other forensic techniques commonly used in real-life investigations.
Designed for all ages, the STEM Forensic Hands-On Activities inspire curiosity, observation, and critical thinking through experiential learning. Participants gain a practical understanding of how scientific evidence is gathered, examined, and interpreted, providing an engaging and educational introduction to forensic science within a STEM framework.
Challenge Format
- Each team consists of 4 participants.
- The challenge includes 5 themed investigation stations and 1 final station.
- Teams must complete tasks at each station to unlock clues.
- At the final station, teams will present their findings and identify the correct suspect to solve the case.
